This is that space in the semester where you get to do your own legal research. I can’t tell you with what cases, though I can help you to find cases if that’s useful. Email me if ya want to…

As a series of steps, your research and submission for this module should look more or less like the following:

Step 1:

Choose what cases you want to study.

Step 2:

Deep dig into those cases, Pull them apart. In general, think about what each case allows you to say about your research topic. And more specifically, look for patterns the cases suggest and/or for facts that they confirm.

Step 3:

In 1 to 5 sentences, tell us what you found that can be of use to you.*

*If you aren’t finding anything useful, try changing cases. If you still cannot find anything useful, write “nothing” as your answer to step 3, and I will reach out to you with other ideas as soon as I can.
